Reader's Digestor lenders make claims in Chapter 11 case

Posted on August 31st, 2009 No Comments

A number of  lenders are lining up to attempt to receive compensation in Reader’s Digest Association Inc.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case. Among those, Quad/Graphics Inc. is owed about $3 million, which makes the Wisconsin firm the 5th-largest claimant.

The bankruptcy case is expected to erase almost $1.6 billion in secured debt for the long-lasting magazine company. To repay its obligations,  Reader’s Digest has structured a plan to give them an ownership stake in the company.

If your company is considering filing for Chapter 11, contact the Milwaukee bankruptcy lawyers of the DeLaderantey Law Office, LLC, at 414-337-0518.
