William “Bill” Nickolai – Associate Attorney

William Nickolai has been practicing law since 1977. Bill spent the early part of his career working as an attorney for Kenosha County, followed by many years as the General Counsel for Gateway Technical College. Bill is the firm’s resident “mediation expert”. As a seasoned litigator, he has spent hundreds of hours in mediation sessions and regularly represent foreclosure clients in mediation sessions regarding loan modifications.
In addition to defending homeowners in foreclosure, Bill is actively involved in Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. Most days he can be found at the federal courthouse, attending hearings with our clients. He has a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, a law degree from American University and a Masters in Tax Law from DePaul University. For the past ten years Bill has been in private practice representing clients in a wide variety of legal matters. Bill is married and has three children, and in his spare time likes to travel and spend time with his family.
