One of the most troubling times for any family is when it is faced with the prospect of foreclosure. Whenever a bank threatens to foreclose on a home, many people believe they are defenseless.
However, the homeowners have rights and can fight about against the banks. And in some cases, the homeowners may discover that the banks tried to deceive them in order to foreclose the home earlier than necessary.
Such deceptive practices by banks are becoming more common during the recent recession. Because of the troubling economic times, banks are trying to foreclose on homes as quickly as possible to acquire cash and other assets. However, most people have the right to fight back against the bank.

We would like to retract our previous post and sincerely apologize to Liz Claiborne for the mistake.

As many homeowners attempted to refinance their home loans the past few months, some of them were victims of fraud by banks attempting to take advantage of their desperate situation.
In response, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection issued a consumer advisory warning regarding foreclosure rescue services and loan modification offers.
These scams typically occurred when a company fraudulent offered a homeowner the opportunity to refinance their mortgage payments. After receiving the homeowner’s personal and financial information, the company would steal funds from the homeowner, putting that individual further into debt.
If you believe that you are a victim of such refinancing fraud, contact the Milwaukee debt renegotiation lawyers of the DeLadurantey Law Office, LLC, at414-377-0518.
